Q: Is there a website with information on the raffle?
A: Yes, you can go to http://vdh.tntt.org/raffle-tickets.

Q: When do we submit the money and stubs of sold raffle tickets?
A:

  • By April 30, 2016: Send back $2.00 per ticket sold; and 50% of sponsorships
  • By May 31, 2016: Send back $2.40 per ticket sold; and 60% of sponsorships
  • By June 30, 2016: Send back $2.80 per ticket sold; and 70% of sponsorships

Q. Where do we submit the money and stubs of sold raffle tickets?
A. Please submit sold stubs and the money (minus your Đoàn’s commission) back to Văn Phòng TNTT. Make check payable to VEYM and mail to 7711 Garden Grove Blvd, Garden Grove, CA 92841.

Q: Do we write a check for the total amount to VEYM?
A: No, keep Đoàn’s portion.

Q: My diocese does not allow any type of gambling, including raffles. What can my Đoàn do?
A: Contact your diocese and explain to them that the raffle is to fundraise for a non-profit event of a non-profit organization. Take this as an opportunity to deepen the relationship between your diocese and VEYM. Ultimately, we need to follow our diocese’s policies.

Q: If my parish/community or an organization buys the raffle tickets, can the parish/community claim the prize(s) in the event that it wins?
A: The raffle rules do not exclude parishes, communities, organizations, and other entities from winning.

Q: Can các Đoàn return the unsold raffle tickets at Đại Hội instead of shipping it back to Văn Phòng TNTT?
A: Yes.

Q: Will Ban Gây Quỹ provide postage to submit money and stub for sold tickets, and unsold tickets?
A: No. You do not need to send back unsold tickets, please bring them to Đại Hội. For the sold tickets, just send back the stubs which should not weigh much and your 50% commission should cover the postage.

Q: Will Ban Gây Quỹ ship the prize(s) to the winner(s)?
A: Yes.

Q: Can we request more raffle tickets?
